Proteins, carbs, fats, and fiber are
expressed in grams. Cholesterol is
expressed in mgs.
Once, visit your grocery store and note the nutrition tables on all the
foods that you normally eat and the new foods that you want to
try. Make a comparison at leisure at home when you are not hungry.
Hunger can change your perception and threshold for resistance before you can blink your eyes.
Don't get carried away by such labels as
"Low fat," or "Low carbs". Become an educated consumer. You decide for yourself what's right for your goal.
Look at each item not by itself, but
how it fits into your entire day's diet plan.
